Speech Language Pathologist in Naperville, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP licensure in Illinois
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress reports

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language support
• Develop and implement effective speech-language treatment plans individualized to each student
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure cohesive student support
• Maintain detailed progress notes, documentation, and compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute expertise and training sessions for staff when needed
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
