Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Illinois SLP license and PEL (Professional Educator License), or eligibility to obtain
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Strong familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and goal setting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with district and state reporting requirements
• Provide consultation and support in inclusive classrooms to facilitate language-rich learning environments
