Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois SLP license and PEL (Professional Educator License), or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and goal setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with district and state reporting requirements
- Provide consultation and support in inclusive classrooms to facilitate language-rich learning environments
