Ideal candidates bring:

  • A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
  • Previous experience working within a school setting, including with IEPs and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders, intervention strategies, and assistive technology
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • A passion for children’s success and growth, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

What you’ll do:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ academic and social needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, counselors, and other service providers to support holistic student development
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reports
  • Provide consultation to school staff on best practices and strategies for inclusive communication
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that empowers students
  • Stay current with developments in the field and participate in professional development
