Ideal candidates bring:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Previous experience working within a school setting, including with IEPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders, intervention strategies, and assistive technology
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- A passion for children’s success and growth, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
What you’ll do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ academic and social needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, counselors, and other service providers to support holistic student development
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reports
- Provide consultation to school staff on best practices and strategies for inclusive communication
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that empowers students
- Stay current with developments in the field and participate in professional development
