Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
  • Experience collaborating in a school environment or working with children and adolescents is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Comfortable developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions addressing students’ unique needs
  • Create and track goals as part of multidisciplinary IEP teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and faculty to support student success
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
  • Adapt therapy practices to accommodate diverse backgrounds and learning styles
  • Engage in professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices
