Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential services to PreK students for the upcoming school year. This full-time position runs from early August through Thanksgiving break and offers flexibility to accommodate both onsite and virtual work environments. Nestled near Nashville, Indiana, you’ll join a dedicated special education team, supporting the communication goals of young learners.

The focus of this assignment is on the resource caseload, serving approximately 70 students while collaborating closely with other SLPs and school staff. Expect to utilize your CCC credentials and specialized expertise to help students achieve their IEP goals and thrive in a supportive environment. You’ll work exclusively with the resource group; other SLPs handle self-contained caseloads, allowing you to concentrate on maximizing impact in your assigned area.

What We’re Seeking:

  • Active Indiana SLP license is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory (CFs and SLPAs are not eligible)
  • Proven background working in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience supporting PreK or early elementary learners is a plus
  • Comfort navigating both in-person and virtual work environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services for approximately 70 PreK students on the resource caseload
  • Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to support students’ communication and IEP needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress
  • Participate in team meetings and family communications, ensuring cohesive support for each child
