This position begins April 5 and runs through the end of the school year, with open consideration for candidates who can start even earlier if available.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
  • Valid teaching or state licensure for SLP in Florida
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar educational setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently, organize a caseload, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students per IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Track and document student progress, outcomes, and compliance requirements
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support the success of every learner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based problem-solving
