A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Navarre, FL, serving an elementary school setting. The role is a contract position for the current school year (CSY), supporting a diverse caseload and providing comprehensive speech and language services in a well-structured environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services to approximately 60-65 students across general education and self-contained special education classrooms
  • Managing direct therapy sessions with elementary-aged students focusing on a range of speech and language needs
  • Allocating scheduled time for completing paperwork, documentation, and IEP-related tasks
  • Collaborating with district-level specialists including SLI Staffing Specialists and an AAC specialist to support student progress
  • Participating in professional development and training opportunities as offered by district specialists

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or equivalent)
  • Pediatric experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
  • Recent graduates or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those in self-contained special education classrooms
