In this role, you’ll serve children with diverse speech and language requirements in a school setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to students’ success during two overlapping maternity leaves.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and needs throughout the assignment
- Organizational skills to efficiently manage documentation and schedules
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation services to assigned caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and track student outcomes
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
