Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication needs as a contract-to-hire Speech-Language Pathologist for two maternity leaves. This full-time opportunity runs from August 3rd through October 28th, giving you the chance to make a real impact in a positive educational environment near Navarre, FL.

In this role, you’ll serve children with diverse speech and language requirements in a school setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to students’ success during two overlapping maternity leaves.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and needs throughout the assignment
  • Organizational skills to efficiently manage documentation and schedules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultation services to assigned caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress
  • Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and track student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
