Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current state licensure or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and conducting assessments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s unique needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and eligibility reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing clinical insights and student progress
- Stay informed on best practices and comply with state and federal requirements for school-based services
