Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience in school settings highly valued
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt intervention strategies for diverse student populations
- Comfort working alongside educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and identifying students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Documenting progress and maintaining thorough records in accordance with school policies
- Conducting group or one-on-one sessions, both direct and consultative
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to educational planning
- Providing education and guidance to staff and families regarding communication strategies
