School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Navarre, Florida

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current state licensure or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology in Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and conducting assessments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s unique needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and eligibility reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing clinical insights and student progress
• Stay informed on best practices and comply with state and federal requirements for school-based services
