School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Navasota, Texas

Step into a vital role supporting elementary-aged students through your expertise in speech-language pathology. This contracted opportunity allows for both onsite and remote (VOCO) service delivery, enabling you to make a difference in the format that best fits your strengths. Provide essential evaluation, intervention, and therapy services to a caseload of approximately 90 students, helping them gain confidence and communication skills that set the stage for lifelong success.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Strong skills in administering and interpreting speech/language assessments
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 90 elementary-aged students
• Ability to implement both onsite and teletherapy (VOCO) services as needed
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and therapy plans
• Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services in-person or via teletherapy platforms
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student achievement
• Foster a welcoming, encouraging, and inclusive therapy environment
