Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows to support preschool Early Intervention programs in Carbon and Lehigh Counties. These contract roles offer a chance to make a direct impact on young learners’ communication skills while gaining broad experience across PreK through 12th grade populations within an established, student-focused educational system.

You’ll deliver itinerant speech services throughout the designated county, working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Flexibility is important, as caseloads may evolve throughout the school year. These positions follow a 35-hour workweek and operate on an Early Intervention calendar (tentatively July 6, 2026, to June 11, 2027).

Key qualifications we’re seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Pennsylvania provisional or temporary SLP license
  • Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Experience or strong interest in preschool and/or school-age populations
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing caseloads and locations
  • Reliable transportation within Carbon or Lehigh County (travel required)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and time-management skills
  • Commitment to in-person service delivery

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct speech/language therapy to preschool and school-age students
  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans
  • Collaborating with families, classroom staff, and related service providers
  • Maintaining timely documentation in accordance with program requirements
  • Adapting services and supports to meet dynamic student needs
