Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in Washington State
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with preschool and elementary populations, is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable and eager to work in-person throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions tailored to each student
  • Partner with teachers and staff to promote optimal learning environments
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Provide consultative support and training for educational staff and families
  • Flexibly adapt to serve a caseload that may occasionally include middle and high school students
