Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and documenting progress
- Consulting with teachers and parents to support student success
- Maintaining thorough records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expertise
- Promoting awareness and education about speech and language needs within the school community
