This rewarding contract opportunity places you within a collaborative K-12 environment, working closely with students ages 12-21 presenting with mild to moderate needs. With a Monday through Friday schedule (8:30am-2:30pm) and a consistent 35-hour workweek, you’ll enjoy both a structured routine and a supportive educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
- Valid Wisconsin SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in schools or with adolescent/young adult populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
- Clear communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services mandated by IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring for students ages 12-21
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families on intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of students with mild to moderate communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning academic supports
