Make an impact guiding students toward greater communication confidence as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 school year. This rewarding contract opportunity places you within a collaborative K-12 environment, working closely with students ages 12-21 presenting with mild to moderate needs. With a Monday through Friday schedule (8:30am-2:30pm) and a consistent 35-hour workweek, you’ll enjoy both a structured routine and a supportive educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
  • Valid Wisconsin SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in schools or with adolescent/young adult populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation
  • Clear communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language services mandated by IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring for students ages 12-21
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families on intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of students with mild to moderate communication disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning academic supports
