Step into a rewarding contract role as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year, working with students from PreK through 12th grade in a dynamic educational setting. Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Comfort and skill in providing intervention for PreK–12th grade students
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborative, communicative approach with students, educators, and families
- Valid state license or eligibility
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Offer direct therapy services and monitor student progress in group or one-on-one settings
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state mandates
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the broader school community
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that nurtures every student’s communication growth
