Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a valued member of an elementary school team. This full-time, contract opportunity near Nevada City, CA, focuses on providing Speech-Language Pathology services to students in grades TK-5. With a manageable caseload of 40-45 students at a single elementary site, you’ll be instrumental in helping children reach their communication goals over the course of a 160-170 day contract. Compensation for this position ranges between $60–$70 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
  • Pediatric or school-based experience highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to students both individually and in groups
  • Maintain compliant and up-to-date student records and documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer guidance, resources, and support to parents and classroom educators
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
