Speech Language Pathologist in Nevada City, CA

This full-time contract position offers immersion at a single elementary site, working across transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. You'll play a vital role in shaping students’ communication and learning milestones, managing a manageable caseload of 40-45 young learners.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver evidence-based therapy.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to elementary aged students.
• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, fluency, and voice as needed.
• Develop, implement, and document progress on individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and school administration to foster student success.
• Maintain timely, accurate records in line with state and federal regulations.
• Engage families and empower them to support continued progress at home.
