Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with elementary students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based practices
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students (K-5)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and track progress on IEP goals tailored to each student's unique abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions
