Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from 4K through 8th grade in a school-based setting near New Berlin, WI. You'll work with a diverse group of 30 students presenting with articulation and language needs, as well as a few students on the spectrum, making your work dynamic and meaningful each day. The position offers full-time hours throughout the academic term, allowing you to truly make an impact as you deliver skilled support to children at crucial stages of development.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before starting)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
  • Understanding of academic and functional communication needs across K-8th
  • Ability to create IEP goals and adapt strategies to individual needs
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply — your skills will be highly valued
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for speech, articulation, and language disorders
  • Offer targeted interventions for students, including those on the autism spectrum
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers and families
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and adjust approaches as necessary
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels valued
