Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid MI SLP license; ASHA certification strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus, though strong new graduates and clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable working across a spectrum of ages and communication challenges
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and social communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy and intervention—both direct and consultative services
  • Maintain thorough records of student progress and interventions
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for students at all skill levels
