Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Texas SLP license or eligibility
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA highly preferred
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • School-based experience highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with educational documentation and IEP development

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and therapy to students with communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, maintain required records, and prepare reports as needed
  • Consult with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech-language strategies into the classroom
  • Participate in parent meetings and provide resources to support students’ communication at home
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment for all students

This contract role offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, running from August 10, 2026, through November 2, 2026. You’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience while making a direct impact in students’ lives.
