What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver engaging and effective speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as needed
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure cohesive support for each student
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing team communications
