What we're looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Connecticut SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), completion of CFY, or willingness to supervise/help with CFY
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP, elementary caseloads, and IEP processes
- Knowledge and comfort with teletherapy platforms and hybrid service models a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes across diverse populations
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Provide both direct and consultative services in accordance with student needs and program requirements
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Collaborate with a supportive team of educators and specialists to promote whole-child success
