Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students during a maternity leave coverage from April 15th to June 11th! This full-time contract position is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a difference in the lives of intermediate and middle school students. Collaborate within a positive school community and work with grades 4 through 8, utilizing your clinical expertise and passion for pediatric communication needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Eligibility for state licensure as required
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, and/or teletherapy settings preferred
  • SLP-CFYs are welcome to apply, depending on prior experience in schools
  • Strong background in assessment, therapy planning, and delivery for school-aged children
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 4-8
  • Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports as needed
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers and support staff to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and communicate progress with families
  • Offer support and resources to teachers and parents to facilitate carryover of skills
  • Deliver services either onsite or in a hybrid/teletherapy environment, ensuring continuity of care
