This full-time contract position is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a difference in the lives of intermediate and middle school students. Collaborate within a positive school community and work with grades 4 through 8, utilizing your clinical expertise and passion for pediatric communication needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Eligibility for state licensure as required
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, and/or teletherapy settings preferred
- SLP-CFYs are welcome to apply, depending on prior experience in schools
- Strong background in assessment, therapy planning, and delivery for school-aged children
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 4-8
- Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports as needed
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers and support staff to foster student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and communicate progress with families
- Offer support and resources to teachers and parents to facilitate carryover of skills
- Deliver services either onsite or in a hybrid/teletherapy environment, ensuring continuity of care
