Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students with diverse needs
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate student communication abilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address speech and language goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt and tailor interventions for optimal student engagement and success

Qualifications & desired experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Connecticut SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
• Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
