Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in dynamic school settings. Two openings are available for the upcoming academic year, running from August 19th through May 29th, 2027, in the vibrant area surrounding New Carlisle, OH.
Opening 1 is full-time, serving elementary and middle school students with a caseload of approximately 50 youngsters. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive working with diverse age groups, focusing on developing communication skills that support academic and social success.
Opening 2 is part-time (3.5 days per week), providing targeted services for autistic students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a manageable caseload of around 32 students. This position is perfect for an SLP looking to make a significant difference, working with neurodiverse learners in both Urbana and West Liberty locations.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to students based on individualized goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
