Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active and valid SLP license in Ohio
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by ASHA
• Previous experience in school settings, preferably with elementary students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit varying needs within a classroom

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in general education settings
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication needs
• Document progress and maintain accurate session notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consult with teachers and paraprofessionals to implement supportive strategies in the classroom
• Present updates and case information to designated staff including Savannah & Jordan, ensuring comprehensive support for each student
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to share progress and offer recommendations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP planning as needed
