This contract role, located near New Castle, DE, is designed for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a positive impact across age groups. The assignment spans from July 6, 2026, to August 6, 2026, beginning with an orientation/set-up day. Opportunities are available for working with both preschool and older students, allowing you to tailor your expertise and interests.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active SLP license with ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY supervision
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric, preschool, or high school populations
  • Strong background in delivering speech and language therapy in school or healthcare settings
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Availability for in-person work; remote options are not available for this assignment

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as an SLP for a center-based preschool caseload, with optional Monday assignment supporting preschool itinerant students in community childcare centers (2 positions available)
  • Providing speech/language services, assessments, and intervention for high school and 18-22 year-old students (1 position available)
  • Creating individualized therapy plans and progress reports
  • Engaging parents and care teams in the student’s therapeutic process
  • Attending team meetings and contributing to a collaborative, supportive work environment

The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, with potential to add Monday for additional preschool itinerant work. Hours vary by location to accommodate each program’s needs, ensuring variety in your work week.
