Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist helps students grow and thrive. This position offers an engaging setting working in-person in a supportive school environment near New Castle, DE. The assignment runs from July 6, 2026, through August 6, 2026, with orientation and set-up on the first day. These roles follow a Tuesday-Thursday schedule, with hours varying based on assignment location. (Preschool SLPs may opt to add Mondays, working with itinerant students in community childcare settings.)
Available positions include:
- Two SLPs working with a center-based preschool caseload (with the option to expand to preschool itinerant students).
- One SLP supporting a high school and 18-22-year-old caseload.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credentials (CCC required; CFY considered for preschool roles).
- Experience providing SLP services in schools or pediatric settings.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, healthcare-related practices within educational environments.
- Comfortable and confident working with students in preschool, high school, and young adult transition programs.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to in-person instruction and therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to optimize student outcomes.
- Complete documentation and progress monitoring as required.
- Engage with diverse caseloads while adapting therapy modalities as needed.
