Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Castle, Delaware

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This role is perfectly suited for professionals comfortable working with school-based and pediatric populations, offering both in-person and teletherapy options. Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an accredited SLPA program
• Active licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY accepted) or SLPA in Delaware
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly desired
• Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for varied communication disorders
• Comfort with teletherapy platforms is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate therapy notes and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide teletherapy services as assigned, ensuring engagement and quality care
• Support SLPA duties as appropriate, following supervision requirements
