This role is perfectly suited for professionals comfortable working with school-based and pediatric populations, offering both in-person and teletherapy options. Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Active licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY accepted) or SLPA in Delaware
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly desired
- Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for varied communication disorders
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide teletherapy services as assigned, ensuring engagement and quality care
- Support SLPA duties as appropriate, following supervision requirements
