Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in New Castle, DE

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new grads are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing culturally responsive, evidence-based practice
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students and provide direct therapy services
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Deliver services for students ages 26–27 as part of a specialized caseload
