School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | New Castle, Delaware

This full-time assignment involves two dynamic roles: covering a maternity leave for a preschool caseload—including some students in an Autism program—from November 18, 2026, through March 10, 2027, as well as immediately taking over a Kindergarten/middle school caseload (on a shared campus) currently managed by a virtual SLP. Both roles are in-person, offering the chance to collaborate closely with students, teachers, and families.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate flexibility, a passion for fostering student communication skills, and experience supporting diverse needs in school settings.

What we're seeking:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CCC-SLP or CFY status in good standing
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
• School-based experience, ideally with preschool and/or middle school populations
• Familiarity with autism spectrum interventions preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfort providing services in-person

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to assigned caseload(s), tailoring strategies to student goals
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and families
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Provide support and resources to students and staff as needed
