Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware SLP license/certification (must provide verification)
• Strong preference for school-based experience, especially with elementary-aged students
• Proficiency in speech-language therapy, conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing IEP goals
• Skilled in monitoring progress and maintaining thorough clinical documentation
• Excellent team collaboration, working seamlessly with teachers, related service providers, families, and staff
• Commitment to full on-site schedule (8:45 AM – 4:15 PM, 37.5 hours/week); punctual and reliable presence required
• Demonstrated adaptability—willingness to support varied caseloads as school needs evolve
• Reliable transportation for on-site duties

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and intervention for elementary students
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and contribute expertise during IEP meetings
• Set appropriate, individualized goals and monitor progress regularly
• Document and report student progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate closely with staff and families to maximize student outcomes
