Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFs also considered
  • Previous experience in a school environment strongly desired
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students according to their IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and write comprehensive reports documenting student progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students’ communication goals
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure coordinated support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
