A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a special education cooperative serving Delaware and Blackford counties in Indiana, located in Muncie. This contract role focuses on supporting students within the school system, with an immediate need for skilled professionals holding the CCC credential in Speech-Language Pathology. The preferred work setting is in person at Grissom Elementary, managing a caseload of approximately 83 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy targeting speech sound disorders, language impairments, and communication challenges within a school environment.
  • Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and comply with all regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to team meetings and help promote inclusive education practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or equivalent state licensure.
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, ideally working with diverse student populations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability and willingness to provide on-site services as preferred for this role.

Location: Muncie, Indiana (Grissom Elementary School)
