Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP licensure or eligibility in New York
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style for students of various ages and needs
  • Positive, collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and support staff
  • CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and therapy services to students across diverse grade and ability levels
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to develop IEPs and support student success
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
  • Participate in professional development and school meetings as needed
  • Support inclusive learning environments and promote effective communication strategies
