Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active SLP license (Speech-Language Pathology) for Connecticut
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in K-5/elementary settings is highly valued
• Exceptional organizational, collaboration, and communication abilities
• Skilled in implementing a variety of assessment tools and therapy approaches

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting assessments and re-evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the special education team
• Providing direct and consultative speech and language therapy across two elementary campuses
• Maintaining accurate records and progress reports for each student served
• Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed
• Assisting in professional development and sharing best practices with school staff
