Based near New Haven, CT, this contract opportunity welcomes both SLPs with CCC and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and offers the flexibility of school-based or teletherapy options. You’ll work full-time as part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to student growth and communication success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state SLP licensure
- CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required (open to new grads)
- Comfort with various service delivery models, including in-person and teletherapy
- Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping elementary-aged students achieve speech and language goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Engage in professional development and team activities throughout the assignment
