School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - New Haven, Connecticut

As a full-time school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll work closely with a supportive interdisciplinary team, providing direct and consultative services to students across a diverse caseload. Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Current or pending Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates, and those with school-based SLP expertise encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in elementary or K-12 settings a plus
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices, though in-person service is primary
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other school professionals
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy for elementary-aged students with diverse communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Track progress, document services, and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to support student success and generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
