Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Able to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual students’ needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Partner with classroom teachers to integrate therapy goals into daily instruction
- Communicate regularly with caregivers on student progress and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, data reviews, and ongoing professional development
