Step into a rewarding opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive educational environment near New Haven, CT. This long-term substitute position begins as soon as possible and continues through November 1, 2026, including the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
You'll work at a single site that hosts two unique programs: one serving PreK-8 students and another accommodating learners aged 9 through 22. Expect a smaller caseload that provides the chance to deliver impactful, individualized therapy to students with significant needs, such as autism and behavioral challenges. You'll be surrounded by a collaborative team of professionals, including six other SLPs and numerous behavioral therapists, ensuring a welcoming and resource-rich workplace.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current (or eligibility for) state SLP licensure/certification
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP settings
- Comfort working with students with autism and behavioral needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Contract role from ASAP through November 1, 2026
- ESY Dates: July 1 – July 24 | Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 2:00PM
- NSY Dates: August 12 – November 1, 2026 | Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 3:30PM
- Open to candidates able to begin July 1
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse student population
