An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a lasting impact in a supportive academic environment. This long-term assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through November 1, 2026, including Extended School Year (ESY) services. The position is based at a single site that houses two unique programs, serving students from preK up to young adults. The caseload for this role includes a small group of students with significant needs, such as Autism and behavioral challenges. You’ll be surrounded by a robust team of fellow SLPs and behavioral therapists, ensuring plenty of collaboration and support.

Schedule Details:

  • ESY runs July 1–24: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
  • Regular school year from August 12–November 1: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license for Connecticut
  • Recent experience working with school-aged children, especially those with Autism or behavioral needs
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ready to begin July 1 or as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, fellow SLPs, and behavioral staff for holistic student support
  • Adapt sessions to meet high needs and foster growth and communication
