As a valued SLP, you’ll work closely with students, families, and educational teams to support communication and language development in a collaborative middle school environment.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC’s required)
- Licensed to practice in the state
- Previous experience providing SLP services in school settings for grades 6–8
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to middle school students
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and special education teams to support student goals
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and communicate effectively with families
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student needs and ongoing assessments
