Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology with ASHA CCC’s
  • Certification suitable for work in educational environments (K-12 preferred)
  • Previous experience delivering speech and language services to middle school students (grades 6-8)
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities when working with educators, families, and support staff
  • Comfort with assessment and treatment planning for students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed language, speech, and communication assessments for identified students in grades 6-8
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support each student’s needs
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in classroom and small group settings
  • Consult with teachers and families to create supportive strategies and share student progress
  • Prepare required documentation and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
