Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP certification required
  • Experience working with students in grades 6-12 strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders common among adolescents
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to a school environment
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive, communicatively rich learning opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for high school caseloads
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP mandates and student assessment results
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and recommend best practices
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to educational staff and families effectively
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
