Apply NowA certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, working part-time in a New Haven, CT school setting. This contract position involves approximately 8 hours per week, primarily supporting a high school caseload serving grades 9-12, with potential involvement across grades K-8.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades 6 through 12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP certification appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with students across elementary and secondary grade levels (K-12)
- Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently, organizing time and documentation effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in New Haven, Connecticut
- Contract duration from August 31, 2026, through June 14, 2027
- Approximately 8 hours per week, secondary school focus
