K-5 Grades 9 - 12 School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - New Haven, Connecticut

Make a positive difference in the school community as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in grades K-12. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families to support student success across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license or eligibility to obtain in Connecticut
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in a school setting, supporting diverse student populations in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and interventions for speech/language disorders

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver speech and language therapy services to students across kindergarten through grade 12
• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of services and student progress
• Provide support for classroom teachers through collaboration and consultation
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success planning
• Stay updated on best practices and regulations related to school-based speech therapy
