Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior experience in school settings preferred, working with K–12 populations
• Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Comfortable adapting therapy approaches for various age groups and learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized and informal assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, tailored to grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12 as needed
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and special education teams to align interventions
• Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain detailed reports
• Support students both individually and in small groups, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
• Provide education and resources to families to reinforce goals beyond the classroom
