A K-12 educational institution in New Haven, IN is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services for the current school year on a contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals with experience or certifications spanning school settings, as well as pediatric healthcare.
Key qualifications and desired experience include:
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically in school or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with K-12 educational needs and individualized student therapy plans
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conducting assessments and tracking student progress throughout the school year
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with school policies and state regulations
- Participating in meetings and contributing to the development of effective intervention strategies
This is a contract role requiring in-person presence during the school year. Candidates should be prepared to work on-site and engage directly with students and staff.
