Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP-CCC certification and eligibility for Wisconsin licensure
  • Experience in a school environment essential
  • Prior hands-on experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) required
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
  • Utilize AAC tools and strategies to support students’ expressive and receptive communication
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support IEP development and implementation
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and progress monitoring in accordance with best practices and district guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and professional development to stay current in the field
