Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop effective IEP goals and provide progress updates
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for eligible students within the ESY program
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy sessions in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress and address concerns
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, attendance, and student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing insight and input for team-based decision making
- Adapt intervention techniques to meet each child’s unique needs and ensure full participation in the ESY program
