What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid or eligible Virginia SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; individuals completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply
  • Skills in school-based speech-language therapy, or an eagerness to build this expertise
  • Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to fostering every student’s communication potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language evaluations and direct therapy for a mixed K–12 caseload
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with best practices and district guidelines
  • Communicate progress and recommendations with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture through proactive teamwork
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all requirements
