Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license and appropriate school credentials
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and commitment to working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess communication, language, speech, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and family members to support student growth
- Participate in IEP development, meetings, and progress reviews
- Document student progress, interventions, and outcomes in a timely manner
- Stay current on best practices in school-based SLP services and interventions
