Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license and appropriate school credentials
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Flexibility and commitment to working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess communication, language, speech, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and family members to support student growth
  • Participate in IEP development, meetings, and progress reviews
  • Document student progress, interventions, and outcomes in a timely manner
  • Stay current on best practices in school-based SLP services and interventions
