Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, RTI teams, and ongoing professional development
- Provide training to staff and families to promote language-rich environments
