Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, RTI teams, and ongoing professional development
  • Provide training to staff and families to promote language-rich environments
