What we’re seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active North Carolina SLP license
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to design, implement, and monitor student-specific intervention plans

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment programs for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services within the school setting
  • Empower students to achieve their communication goals and support their overall academic growth
