School Speech Language Pathologist - New Orleans, Louisiana

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Louisiana state licensure (please only apply if you are already licensed in Louisiana)
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience providing speech-language services in a school-based setting is a plus
• Ability to meet district credentialing requirements, including drug screening and fingerprinting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across a range of age groups (caseload and specific assignments to be determined)
• Assess students, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and recommend interventions to support language development and communication needs
• Work closely with teachers, school teams, and families to enhance student outcomes
• Maintain thorough records and contribute to the district’s collaborative educational environment
