Grades 9 - 12 Grades 6 - 8 Speech Language Pathologist in New Orleans, LA

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current SLP license valid in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting and working across multiple age groups (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfort with providing both group and individualized therapy, as well as developing IEP goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language assessment, intervention, and consultation services for students in Grades K-12
• Provide direct 1:1 and group therapy aligned to students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals to maximize student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all therapy sessions, progress reports, and required compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and case conferences as needed
• Offer support and resources to families regarding speech, language, and communication development
