This rewarding opportunity involves working directly with preschool students (ages 3-5) who require special education services. As part of an itinerant team, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to promote each child’s communication growth, all within a supportive environment equipped with the materials and resources you need.
What You'll Bring:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license (must be submitted with resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC); strong Clinical Fellows considered*
- Previous experience in school-based settings, preschool programs, or special education preferred
- Passion for nurturing early childhood communication and language skills
- Flexibility and adaptability for travel across sites in the area
- Excellent organization skills for managing caseload and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students with a variety of needs
- Conduct individualized student assessments and develop tailored educational plans
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on program improvement
- Take advantage of dedicated weekly paperwork time to stay organized
